Vietnam visit

Our CEO, Jillian Laing, visited the fertile Central Highland region in South Vietnam, where an increasing number of macadamia trees are planted alongside many other crops. Vietnam is producing about 6,500 – 7,000MT of nut-in-shell macadamias and has significant plantings which start producing nuts in the next few years. A lot of the current production is consumed within Vietnam, with a focus on gifting and hosting during significant festivals.
